Guidelines for Preparation of Manuscripts

Manuscripts intended for submission to journals, conference proceedings, and other publications evaluated and published by the Society shall adhere to the following guidelines:

1. The author must be a member of the Society.

2. The author is responsible for the content of the manuscript and must adhere to the Society's code of ethics in research

3. The manuscript should be original, not previously published elsewhere, and contribute to the academic and technological development in the field of manufacturing process.

4. The manuscript structure shall be as follows: (1) Title, (2) Authors [authors should be listed in order of their contribution. The corresponding author should be indicated if they are not the first author], (3) Abstract, (4) Keywords, (5) Introduction, (6) Main Text [theoretical analysis, experimental methods, and results and discussion], (7) Conclusion, (8) Acknowledgments, (9) References, (10) Appendix and others.

5. The manuscript should be written in Korean only, a combination of Korean and Chinese characters, or English only. Terms that cannot be directly translated may be included in parentheses.

6. The title should be concise, and keywords should be limited to 10 or fewer in English (or Korean).

7. For manuscripts in Korean or Chinese characters, the title and authors should first be presented in Korean, followed by an English translation. The abstract and keywords must be in English, not exceeding 200 words, without any charts or footnotes.

8. For manuscripts in English, the title and authors shall be listed in English first, then in Korean. An English abstract and a Korean summary are customary, with the main text and keywords in English.

Captions for tables and figures should be in English (e.g. Table 1..., Fig. 1...), with their placement and descriptions clearly indicated within the main text. Table captions should be aligned to the left above the table, while figure captions should be centered below the figure. All tables and figures must be in English.

10. Use Arabic numerals throughout the manuscript, adhere to SI units for measurements, and ensure spaces between numbers and units.

11. Quotations and references within the manuscript should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance, using index numbers. Reference numbers should be superscripted in parentheses, placed either at the end of a sentence or within it, as appropriate.
(1) Example for placement at the end of the sentence [1,2]
