Regulations on Manuscript Submission

Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this regulation is to outline the process for submitting a manuscript to the Journal of the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers (hereinafter referred to as the “journal”).

Article 2 (Types of Manuscript)
The following types of manuscripts are eligible for publication in the journal, and the specific type shall be indicated during submission.
1. Research manuscript: A manuscript that has not been previously published in other journals, is grounded in reliable facts and has the potential to benefit manufacturing process engineers
2. Review article: A review article focusing on technological advancements or research trends in a specific area relevant to manufacturing process engineers

Article 3 (Writing a Manuscript)
1. The submitted manuscripts must comply with the research ethics guidelines of the journal.
2. The submitted manuscripts must follow the journal format. All authors are required to comply with the journal's writing guidelines.
3. The editorial staff may edit the manuscript accepted for publication according to the writing guidelines.

Article 4 (Submitting a Manuscript)
1. The manuscript may be submitted anytime through the society's online submission system.
2. The manuscript's submission date is when the author completes the submission of the manuscript to the manuscript submission system.

Article 5 (Manuscript Review Process)
1. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo peer review, which is carried out through the society's manuscript submission system.
2. Details of peer review are subject to the regulations on manuscript review.
3. A manuscript reviewed and edited within two months from the submission date can only be published after being reevaluated by the editorial committee.

Article 6 (Transfer and Distribution of Copyright)
1. Authors must submit an Agreement of Copyright Transfer to the Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers for manuscripts approved for publication.
2. The Korean Society of Manufacturing Process Engineers may distribute the published paper in printed or electronic form.

Article 7 (Others)
Matters not specified in these regulations are subject to the decision of the editorial committee.
